In the meantime, I'm just back in from seeing Battles at the Liquid Room in Edinburgh. They don't get any worse I can assure you. An hour and a bit of exhilarating, driving, rocking, pounding, grooving sounds from 4 of the tightest musicians you're ever likely to see. Magnificent is a word that just about does them justice.
